Beading Classes at The Bothy
The Bothy is Di Gilpin’s studio in Largoward, Fife and is an inspirational place to hold beading workshops with plenty natural light.

I am delighted to finally be setting up some dates but am flexible with the days for workshops so do let me know if you can’t make these days. I’m starting off with some quick workshops to help improve your wireworking skills and then will introduce some bead stitch projects.

Do email me with requests and I can either slot in a few more dates or include these in the autumn workshop schedule. Workshops are at present twice a month but if demand is there we can do a workshop every week.

Tiara

Tiaras are one of the most requested jewellery techniques so whether you have a wedding or ball coming up or want to set up a business why not come along and learn how to make a tiara. Create your own design using Swarovski crystals and crystal pearls. All materials provided. A light snack in mid-afternoon is included. £50
Chunky Beads
Tuesday 15th June 10 - 12pm
Right angle weave is a versatile technique for jewellery making. Learn how to incorporate extra beads to the basic right angle weave to make a cuboid bead that can be incorporated in a necklace design. The technique can also be used to make a hair bauble or bangle. Features designs from my new book! Choose from a selection of Xilion Swarovski crystal colours. £20
Wire Corsage
Sunday 4th July 12 - 4pm
Knitting with wire is an exciting technique that can be used to create all sorts of jewellery. This quick and easy corsage is knitted in three stages, the elements stitched together and then a brooch back added. All materials provided. A light snack in mid-afternoon is included. £40
